Prem Prasad Adhikary

Producer

Prem Prasad Adhikary is an independent producer and co-founder of the boutique production company Simal Cinema based in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is the graduate of Oscar International College (2014), as well as alumnus of Produire au Sud (2020), and Busan Asian Film School (2022).

His works as a producer have screened at film festivals including; Raindance, Fribourg, Torino, Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, Washington DC Film fest, Drama International Short Film Festival, London Short Film Festival, Ajyal Film festival, Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival, Nepal America Film Festival, Vancouver, Tasveer, Philadelphia and Chicago South Asian Film Festivals.

His projects in development include; The Flowers of Wild Sugarcane, feature fiction by Santosh Dahal, Nitya Nutan, short fiction by Nawa Nidhi Dahal as well as Summer of Goodbyes, another short fiction by Minsho Limbu which was selected at the Drama Pitching Lab, a part of the 45th edition of Drama International Short Film Festival, Greece, 2022.
